Colleagues,

I participated in City of Science once and anyone else who has can also attest to how fun it is. The big round space of our gym at York is a great venue for it, and our community there is tremendously well served by such events. The partner here, the Queens Library, whose main branch is down the road and includes a mini science museum, is a fantastic asset to the area as well. I encourage anyone interested in taking part in this event Nov 3 to reach out to Caroline Gelb directly. You can say I sent you.

Hi Tim,

I hope you had a nice summer.

City of Science is returning to York College on Sunday, November 3. We're working with the Queens Public Library to bring elements of their new exoplanets exhibit to the event.

If you're not running the marathon that day, I know Lynn Cole who runs the library's Discovery Center would love your help running the activities. If you're free, please let me know and I'll send more details.

Many thanks,
Caroline
