PAID Eclipse event at Tavern on the Green (67th & Central Park West)

Hi everyone!

I have a potentially exciting outreach opportunity if you're staying in NYC for the eclipse (Monday April 8, ~2:30-4:40 pm with 90% max eclipse at 3:25 pm). I pitched an event to Tavern on the Green, and the managers and public relations people are very excited. I don't know yet what the exact timing of the event would be, or the compensation, but it could be a fun way to enjoy the eclipse in an iconic NYC location! The astronomer would explain eclipses to guests and help them watch it safely (I can help you obtain eclipse glasses and maybe even a Sunspotter). If you have a telescope to bring, that would be great but isn't necessary as far as I know.
