Title: Searching GW signal of Core-Collapse Supernovae

Abstract: Core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe) are explosions of massive stars that lead to the formation of compact objects such as neutron stars and black holes. These astrophysical events are fascinating due to their multimessenger emissions: electromagnetic radiation, neutrinos, and gravitational waves (GW). GW signals from CCSNe, however, have remained undetected, and the scientific community is working to achieve this. In this talk, I will present the search and detection of GW emitted by CCSNe. Then, I will present the role of machine learning (ML) methods in enhancing the search, detection, and characterization of GW from CCSNes. Finally, I will show the results of searches for GW transients associated with CCSNe that have been discovered and observed by electromagnetic detectors.
