Dear ASTRA-sim users,

We are excited to announce the launch of a new service within the ASTRA-sim ecosystem designed to enhance the usability of ASTRA-sim in a more structured manner while maintaining its flexibility of fine-tuned configurations.

The ASTRA-sim Service streamlines configuring and running ASTRA-sim simulations with its OpenAPI-based OpenAPIArt interface. This service allows users to set up, control, and monitor simulations remotely with ease. It offers flexible workload configuration through MLCommons Chakra and infrastructure modeling via InfraGraph. Users can also configure simulation settings conveniently using Jupyter notebooks for interactive experimentation. Our repository provides options for both Docker-based and standalone services and includes ready-to-use sample notebooks for a quick start.

We hope this service will assist ASTRA-sim users in setting up simulations quickly, allowing them to focus on their simulation needs. We welcome your feedback and contributions to make this service more valuable and appealing to the community.

We extend our gratitude to all the contributors from Keysight (Harsh Sikhwal, Amos Rai, Andy Balogh) and GeorgiaTech (Jinsun Yoo) for their support. We also acknowledge the guidance and feedback from Winston Liu, Kingshuk Mandal (Keysight), and Tushar Krishna (Georgia Tech).

Best regards,
Pradosh Datta (Keysight)
