for wordpress users ... and a marketing question

okay i've gotten most of my kinks worked out.  but wordpress support is away until march and i've got a question - i cannot leave a comment on the astraea press blog, for example, and identify myself properly. all you wordpress users, i keep getting the message "open identification cannot be verified" when i try to post my blog name (along with wordpress).  what in the world? additionally, a marketing question:  do you ladies think a website is worth it?  if so, who do you recommend for design?   thanks! Make sure that you have your blog opened when you're trying to put a comment in on the other blog. Some of the blogger ones won't recognize it unless you have it open.   My sister and I did a free website, but it just launched like a month ago. Most of my traffic is for my blog. I keep it  updated the most. The website is just there to have one (LOL), and even on that I direct reader to my blog/twitter/facebook. They can read an interview with me and my sister/see my books/and some pics, but that's about it... Not sure on leaving a message because I use blogger so I have an account.  If you have a google account, even if it is just the one that you use for the google group you should be able to sign in using that information and post on Astraea's Blog.

 

On the website.  I have a free one through webs.com.  I'm notriously cheap.  I don't want to pay anything out until I make something!  So I've used their free account for the moment.  You can see mine at www.feliciarogersauthor.webs.com.  When you pay for an account with them it takes out the webs part.

Yeah, sometimes some of the blogs are dingy and you have to have it open in another window. Other times it just wants you to be logged in. Not sure why it does that. Good luck!
