Hello,

how is user pricing calculated? Is it a markup based on the trunk that the call is routed to?

My current pricing is unrelated to the trunk used to forward the call (in fact there can be several routes and different trunk prices).

What I need to do is give the customer a fixed pricing for all terminated calls, regardless on what I pay to the upstream trunk provider.

How can I achieve this with astpp?

Hi Indy,

Billing will be done bsaed on origination and termination rates.
Origination rates will apply to customers and termination rates are for
admin (Buy rate for admin).

To assign fixed pricing to customers, you can create rate group and add
prefixes with its price and assign it to your customer. So when they
will make calls, they will be charged according to your defined rates
under rate group.

I hope this will help.

Thanks,

Thank you, I was under the impression that origination means pricing for calls originated somewhere else (inbound calls billed to the customer) and that termination calls was the calls made by the customer and terminated to an upstream trunk.

So, is there a way to bill for inbound calls as in a toll-free number where the customer pays for incoming calls too ?

Yeah when you added DID number, define the increment, cost per minutes,
connect cost. So, system will charge them accordingly for inbound DID call.

Hi.
I have a similar situation.
I need set different rates for incoming calls by caller trunk.
Is it possible?

Nope.

You can only define rate cost amount in DID and that will be applicable in all case.

Best Regards
