Hello Group,

My provider needs P-Preferred-Identity for outbound calls but i am unable to set the same. SIP Trace logs shows only the below :

Remote-Party-ID: "XXXXXXXX" <sip:XXXX...@10.50.182.26>;party=calling;screen=yes;privacy=off

How can i send the below custom header in SIP INVITE ?

P-Preferred-Identity:sip:XXXXXXXX@10.50.180.1

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Suman

Hi,

I think you mean the "p-asserted-identity" header ? Although I'm sorry I don't know where to set this is ASTPP.

Regards

P-Asserted-Identity is PAI and P-Preferred-Identity is PPI . My Service provider needs PPI to be set in INVITE. I have tried looking in SIP Profile and Gateway but there is no such variable to be set.

Freeswitch sofia says the variable as sip_cid_type but setting it didn't had any effect.

I guess the devs are slow in responding so i had tried and found the solution myself . You can add custom dialplan to gateway section. Below is the HOWTO

EDIT GATEWAY -DIALPLAN VARIABLE : sip_h_P-Preferred-Identity=sip:1234...@12.50.188.1 <12345678 will be the Pilot Number followed by SBC IP>

The above will sent PPI . If you want to send PAI , just append with respective variable with PAI instead of PPI.

Devs. when you get time and if not too busy, please mark this thread as completed.
