I checked for all credentials only to find out that the libmyodbc.so is missing

is this file i can download 3rd party?

 isql -v astpp

the file path from x86 do not exist.

I've gone through the old post and verifi the odbc credentials

That's myodbc lib file missing problem. 

Confirm if libmyodbc is installed and the .so file path which is defined in odbc.ini is correct. If not then correct it and try again.

Yes the file is missing also the file path - I wanted to believe it is a problem with the processor i could be wrong - i am using a 32bit test machine and the file in question work on a 64bit machine...

Check .so file now at "/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/odbc/libmyodbc.so"
If file is there. mention this path in you "/etc/odbc.ini"
If .so is not there then search for libmyodbc.so in /usr/lib and give correct path.
