New provider registration

Hi,
I'm having a bit of a problem with my new provider for sip registration, they are receiving the username as gw+username
not just the username, any idea how i can remove the gw+ from the username so that i can register my gateway.
ps: I have another provider and it registered fine except with this new one I'm having a problem with I'm getting 408 error.

There is parameter named as "From User", try to configure gateway username in that and check if its work.

I tried putting the username in username and from user field still the same problem.
is there a way to disable the gw+ so that it doesn't show

Hi,
I'm still stuck on this issue the problem lies within contact

there shouldn't be gw+ that's the problem.
I checked the wiki freeswitch i found this
<!-- *optional* - default is false--> <param name="extension-in-contact" value="true"/>
but i didn't find it in astpp should i add this in sip profile ?
also i spoke with the provider support they told me dont use from-user field.

I tried it again now the gw+ always shows up in contact

I contacted them, they are receiving the username as gw+username
that's the problem
