ASTPP NOT INSTALLING ON CENTOS 7

I am not sure if anyone is facing this problem. While installing astpp on centos 7 , Freeswitch does not install. I thought maybe it was because of astpp so i tried to install freeswitch only on centos 7. Still it wont install. Has anyone managed to install Freeswitch on Centos 7 or ASTPP 3 on centos 7???

When I Install, I install a fresh installation of centos 7 first. Then, I run all updates on centos 7; 'yum -y update && yum -y upgrade' (single command in bash will do both.)

Once complete, I install using the installation script. Once I started doing that, I had no problems. I also recommend if you are doing this remotely through SSH that you install screen (yum install screen) and run the installation script in screen so that if you loose connection your install doesn't stop.

this line in Quickinstall script:

rpm -Uvh http://files.freeswitch.org/freeswitch-release-1-6.noarch.rpm

DNS A record of "files.freeswitch.org" often failed. maybe return a ipv6 address. and will not to retry.

and any files will download from this server also be fail.

so Freeswitch does not install.

In Debian, wget ,apt-get or curl command to download from this server is stable , and if fail can retry.

I exclusively use Centos 7, and have had no problems installing. Please let us know which installation method you are using or what guide you are following, I have also seen some comments in this thread about the freeswitch-release-1-6.noarch.rpm not working properly.. I can assure that these errors are specific to those users, and are likely not the cause of your issue. I can confirm that the freeswitch 1.6 rpm is certainly alive and accessible.

install on centos 7 mini ver no problem. My only issue was when i change the password for Admin it was hell to get back in. I switch to debain 8 jessie so far it is working fine.

I will now implement the features and help try to fix  many issues bloggers are having, they are many work around. FusionPBX is very similar but not GUI wise. I will advice some user to get familiar with FS  in its raw form and you will be able to solve many of the module and features that seems problematic in this new release. Thanks to the ASTPP team we need to contribute meaningfully.
