Hi list,

I'm, trying to use ASTPP to rate my Asterisk's CDR, which (finally) is about to be working.
That means, rating calls works, but one question remains:
Is it possible to have different Rates/costs/prices for the clients depending on what Trunk / Provider was used? (The dialled number is always the same, there's no prefix for the different Trunks/Providers; Asterisk is making the decision which Trunk should be used. So, I'd possible have to decide depending on the dstchannel, like it's done for Vendor Rating)

Kind regards,
Philipp

Hi Philipp,

For the trunks/provider rates (termination rates), It will do LCR on all
prefixes which are uploaded/added in termination module.
For the origination rates, its possible to charge different rate for
same prefix. We just need to create pricelist with different rates and
assign it to customer.

Thanks,
Samir Doshi

Hi Samir,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm not doing LCR with ASTPP, I'd like to rate the calls from Asterisk CDR.

For the origination rates, its possible to charge different rate for
same prefix. We just need to create pricelist with different rates and
assign it to customer.
But I cannot select a Provider or Trunk for the origination rates?!

I have two trunks, one VoIP and an ISDN, both with limited channel capacity.
The VoIP trunk is usually used for most outbound calls, but if all channels are used, it's automatically using the ISDN Trunk. And since I'd like to bill the customers with (more or less) the exact costs the calls are really causing, I'd like the have another rate depending on the trunk that was used (either VoIP or ISDN). I can do that for termination rates, but can't find such a thing for the origination rates.

Best regards,
Philipp
