to ASTPP
I started with a properly installed FusionPBX server and added ASTPP.  Both GUI's are working.  However, they are not interacting at all.

I think it is lua.  FusionPBX lua is being used and ASTPP lua is ignored.  If I install the ASTPP /usr/local/freeswitch config files then I am assuming that ASTPP will work and FusionPBX config will be ignored.

So what is the trick to make them work together on the same server sharing the same Freeswitch instance?  I know people are doing this because I read posts on it asking administrative questions.  I can't find any hints anywhere how it should be installed though.  What configs are shared between the two?

to run both platform on the same server will be tricky since the system will recognized one kernel/service running.
ASTPP have its own directory and so does fushionpbx but the complicated aspect comes into play because two different platform is using the same engine.
I would asume it is possible to have this run on a grid server rather than a stand alone. OR you find a method to change the service ID, If not you will find 2 of the same services being runing on one process therefore one will take precident over the other by given resources. It way too complicated - asterisk and FS = no problem
partitioning, still will not solve the issue of a dual boot telephony platform.

We run ASTPP and Fusion.  We run them on different Linux containers and pass traffic between them using public ips. We have been doing this successfully for a few years.  This all runs on one physical server.

I think only way to run both on the same server is using lxc conainers and run astpp in one container and fusionpbx in another.

If Fusionpbx is a must, then you may be interested in billing for Fusionpbx instead
