Customer Trunk Setup with DID

Hi

Could someone please give me a brief step by step explanation to setup a Customer DID Trunk?

The scenario is a Customer has a SIP enabled PABX and SIP Trunk to ASTPP.
He's allocated a single number or a block to be routed over that trunk.

He should also be billed based on Destination.

Hi Deon,

You can assign DID to customer or customer can purchase DID from
customer portal.
Once DID is allocated to customer then he will be able to set dialstring
(destination) which needs to be called when DID get call.

Regarding destination billing, ASTPP doesn't have feature to bill based
on destination number. ASTPP can do billing of only DID, based on per
second cost and increment second you have defined for DID.

So basically the Customer PABX will have to register with ASTPP as a SIP client?

You can route DID call to extension by using below dialstring.

sofia/internal/<SIP Device username>%<YOUR FS IP>

You can route DID call to extension by using below dialstring.

You can use type OTHER and set destination = sofia/default/number@ip.
