Installed ASTPP Beta 2 and updated admin user password but now locked out

Hi

Just installed the latest version of ASTPP Beta but tried to change the admin password from admin to something more secure and then saved the changes.

Then tried to login again but would not accept the password.

Due to this being the only admin user I can't login and noticed no feature to request a password reset by email.

try resetting it from the database if you still know your mysql root password

login to ssh

get into mysql

#mysql -uroot -p

enter mysql root password

mysql> update accounts set password='admin' where number='admin' ;

Then you should be able to login with default login.

Hi Cody,

We tried to reproduce the issue but no luck. It maybe typo when you changed password or session related issue.   

That issue is already raised in bug tracker :- http://bugs.astpp.org/view.php?id=34
