Hi everyone. Hope you're all well this morning. I'm very sorry to tell you that my husband has suffered a family tragedy and we will be leaving town Friday night.

Given my role in this group, I don't think its necessary for me to actually be at the events. Most of my work is done beforehand. I will continue to coordinate the paper products, outreach and canvassing, and I'll continue to copy Susan and Robyn on all of this stuff so that they can assist if I'm unreachable.

Joanna,

I'm very sorry to hear this.  Thanks for all your hard work and please let me know if you need anything.  Please extend my sympathies to Stephen.  I will keep you both in my thoughts.

Sincerely,
Robyn

Fear not, everything here will run smooth as a babies bottom.
Go take care of your things and we will see you when you get back.
But...is there a letter to give to the donatees? Just wondering if you got that out of the way before this happened.

Be well
Talk to the rest of you soon

ah - I haven't done that, but I can do it today. No worries. It should
include a thank-you and the letter of "certification" (for lack of a
better term) from America's Second Harvest attached?

Joey, I'm really sorry to hear the news.  Please pass my condolences on to Stephen.

Was the letter discussed at the meeting I missed?  This is a legal issue.  We need to be very careful for legal reasons what we say.  With all the emails going back and forth I'm not sure who is doing it at this point, but if it's someone else, I have to see it before it's finalised.

well, i know i brought up the letter at my first meeting. only because
one of the depts here that are donating the conan tickets asked for
one. i dont want to not get the tix on account of something that we can
get them. if its something too difficult or weird, i may have to try to
talk to them and let them know that i dont have anything for them. But
i really think a simple thank you with all our info on it might be
enough.
but thats just my "illegal" thought on it... tee hee!

sooz - we did get a sort of letter of authenticity from America's Second Harvest.
