I still don't see the need for all this excessive beauracracy and secrecy as
I do still believe in Democracy, good intentions nonwitstanding. If the
"committee" is not accomplishing it's goals then I have a duty to present it
before the group. Please, no more private communications. Everyone should
know what everyone else is doing. I believe that the action committee (which
I voted on) was set up to make decisions in the absense of the other members
since unanimously we couldn't be there all the time, and Not to act as some
sort of tyrannical body making "internal" decisions on behalf of the group
and it's members against their better judgment. Especially if these
"decisions" detract from our original intention.

>Dear Eddie,

>I want to say that I really appreciate all the effort you are putting into
>helping promote AHR and our events. Everyone is very grateful in
>particular for your help with the flyers, and I'm glad you are helping with
>the silent auction as well. I can see that you really care about making
>this a success, and that means a lot to me.

>I know that when we first began we were more of a free-form group, but
>we've had to change gears so that we can be effective. We set up the main
>action committee of me, Joanna and Laura, with specific task assignments
>for each person, to be able to accomplish our goals in a timely manner. So
>in the future, if you have ideas for other areas within AHR, please run
>them by me or the relevant committee member (Laura for legal/financial
>concerns, Joanna for marketing and PR) before acting. This way we can
>present a united front to the public that is consistent with our internal
>administrative decisions (such as how long we will maintain our website,
>the contact point for marketing materials, etc), and avoid confusion and
>embarrassment that can accidentally come about from things like double
>booking.

>Your cooperation on this matter means a great deal to me, and again I'd
>like to underscore that your contributions to this project are greatly
>appreciated by all of us.

>Thanks,
