to Asthma Treatment
For people who suffer with asthma, sometimes just walking through the
house can be exhausting. They feel tightness in their chest and then
it is hard to breathe. Some people even wheeze trying to get air in
and out of their lungs. Most of the prescribed medications for asthma
come with side effects that can be hard to deal with such as being
jittery, shaky and trouble sleeping. Some claim it feels like they
have had too much caffeine or that they feel all wired up. That is
where natural cures for asthma can come in handy. You can still have
the benefits of the traditional medication without all of the extra
side effects.
There are many things that can trigger an asthma attack such as
allergies, stress and exercise. There are natural remedies that can
treat most all of these symptoms. One of the easiest ways to treat
asthma is to change your diet. Many food allergies can trigger attacks
and many people don't realize that it could be the food that they eat
that is making them sick. You would want to avoid the food that forms
mucus such as red meats, grains and processed junk food.
Other things that you can do to naturally treat your asthma would be
exercise such as yoga. It can help to strengthen your lung muscles
helping you breathe easier. At the onset of asthma problems, it can
help to drink a cup of coffee as the caffeine helps to open up the
lungs allowing you to breathe easier. There have even been people that
have claimed that breathing in the air from their freezer when they
are having trouble breathing helped to calm their asthma attack.
There are also many herbal products on the market today for helping to
reduce the flair ups that come with having asthma. Before you start
any type of treatment for your condition, be sure to check with your
doctor and tell him what you want to try. You want o be sure that is
something that is compatible with what you currently take and to not
over do it. When an asthma start the best thing you can do it try to
stay calm and do not get upset as that will only make breathing more
difficult and it will be harder to get the bronchial area to relax.
You don't have to stay hidden away from the world for fear that you
will have an asthma attack from something that you come in contact
with. There is plenty of health food stores that are around that would
be happy to go over your symptoms and what triggers an attack so they
can best match you with a natural treatment. Treating your asthma can
become costly with the medications that are needed to keep it under
control. The natural treatments may help to lower those costs.
