TKU Thomas for posting this report. I think this report is one of the better surveys of our field of interest.
Let’s be clear that it surveys only what exists but does not highlight gaps or impending new kinds of missions/applications.
Examples of further aspects we must address (not claiming a comprehensive list) are:
1. Seems to focus on the performance attributes but not on the integrity attributes.
2. Does not address how testing can discover the dynamic and integrity limits.
3. Does not address ways of ascertaining the efficacy of testing (Prof. Dijkstra warned "Testing shows the presence, not the absence of bugs.”
4. Does not address UAS’s that learn and morph (in the right or safe directions).
