Emergen Consulting is proud to announce that it is taking part in the
2009 9th ITCN Asia exhibition scheduled to run from August 11 to 13th
2009.
Emergen will be conducting live demonstrations of Digium's Asterisk
Open Source PBX, Zimbra (a Yahoo! company) Mail Collaboration Suite
and Zivios Open Source Enterprise Management.
About Digium:
Digium is a company based in Huntsville, Alabama which specializes in
the development of PBX hardware and open-source telephony software,
most notably Asterisk.
About Zimbra:
One of the larger web 2.0 acquisitions of 2007, Zimbra’s sale to Yahoo
for $350 million marks Yahoo’s continued attempt to regain some market
share from Google and Microsoft. Zimbra, an AJAX heavy webmail and
calendaring client with collaborative features, is primarily used by
the enterprise market, but has opened up to other users through a deal
with Comcast and an open-source freeware version.
About Zivios:
Zivios is a web based control panel/console which brings together
vital open source technologies needed by medium and large enterprises.
At its core, Zivios provides identity management, single sign-on,
user, group and computer provisioning, as well as remote management of
services.
About Emergen:
Emergen is one of the very few system integrators who solely work on
open source systems as their core business. Emergen has been quietly
converting customers from proprietary infrastructure solutions,
firewalls, IP PABX’s (internal IP phone exchange), and email servers
onto Linux based equivalents over the last 5 years. Some of our
flagship clients include KESC, BankIslami, Tameer Micro-Finance Bank and NADRA.
ITCN Exhibition details:
Emergen will be conducting live demonstrations of Switchvox, Polycom,
Linksys, Quintum, Zimbra Collaboration Suite & Zivios Enterprise
