You can follow this:

http://kb.digium.com/entry/85/

then this for dahdi:

http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/dahdi-linux/releases/README-2.0.0-rc2

but before installing Dahdi make sure you have updated you system with
the kernel headers or source.

and then Install Asterisk 1.4

Hope this helps you.

Regards

Thanks for the quick reply

I have installed Dadhi and I am using Asterisk 1.6
My problem is extensions.conf
What to write in it (I saw it in the training but I forgot)
How to res\ceive a call
what other files I have to edit to make it work

Well I have never used 1.6 but after installing dahdi you will have to
configure and define the channels. /etc/dahdi/system.conf I dont
remember exact and /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf

in the first file you will have to define your channels like

defaultzone=us
fxsks=1-23

then chan_dahai.conf
signalling=fxs_ks
context=blah
group=1
channel => 1-24

then run dahdi_cfg -vvvvvvvvv

and your channels are now configured

Ohh yes thanks

just one thing more
If I have 24 port FXO card then I will use in /etc/dahdi/system.conf

defaultzone=us
fxsks=1-24

and same as /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf

signalling=fxs_ks
context=blah
group=1
channel => 1-24

for fxo cards we use fxsks ? Thats what I remember it was opposite right?

And The Last thing
in /etc/asterisk/extensions.conf
how do I receive the incomming call from FXO module?

To have more than one ivr I have to make more than one group in chan_dahdi ?
