codec_g72n*.so files are not getting loaded in asterisk 18 on aws linux x86_64

to Asterisk G.729

I have copied all the required .so files into

/usr/lib/asterisk/modules

When I restart asterisk and run 'core show translation recalc 10' both codecs do now show up.

Do you have any explanation or reasons why this is happening?
