Dear Assyrian Brothers and Sisters,
I would like to address this important issue in regard our
destiny as a nation.
Who is our true enemy, the Muslims or we?
We know the Muslims invaded our land “Ashur” and massacred
our nation.
But who is forcing the Assyrian parents not to speak
Assyrian language with their kids at home in America, Canada and Australia? Who is massacring the Assyrian language?
Who told the Assyrian parents not to enroll their kids in
our Assyrian public school here in Arizona USA?
Who told Mar Aprim Khamis not to renew the lease agreement
to our Assyrian public School?
Who told the Iraqi government that we the Assyrians don’t
need an independent State?
Who divided our nation into three church denominations, (Chaldean, Syrian and Assyrian Church of the East?
Who divided the original Assyrian Church; The Assyrian
nation? or the Church leaders?
Who is the leader of our nation now, Assyrian Church of the
East? If no; why not? And if yes, why the
church is not leading and why the church is not supporting our projects of the resurrections?
If the Assyrian church is not leading, why she is meeting with political Assyrian organizations and foreign governments?
And why the Assyrian Church of the East when they meet with
any of the political Assyrian organization, they meet in privet places as in homes without
the knowledge of the Assyrian nation. And why they don’t hold their meeting in
a large public places as in Football Field so all the Assyrians can have the
chance to participate.
Why the Assyrian church of the East is silent and does not
respond to my questions in regard the School project that they did not support
MORALLY.
Why the Assyrian Church of the East does not want to
participate in our projects of the resurrection that will benefit the entire Assyrian nation in the
future?
I know this. That Mar Benyamin Shimon was the last
hero and the last Assyrian nation leader. A true leader, who told his nation to
be armed, united and organized to face the enemy. Unfortunately the unwise
“Malike” did not listen to him.
If we as people or individuals can not work together with our churches, how can we rise as a nation?
