Hello,

I'm currently trying to connect an AIR app to existing systems that
run MySQL 4.0.6 and was just wondering if you all think it would be
better to just go with a PHP gateway instead.
Is the connection and query protocol so different in 4.0 that I
shouldn't even start modifying the asSQL code, or do you think it's
possible to complete in a week?

Thanks,
Owen

I would definetely go with PHP or any other script... Don't think Air supports db connection at the moment...

I mean, assql's handshake already works with MySQL 4.1, so I'm just
wondering if these files would be a good base to make work with 4.0
Thoughts?
