Subject : Nominations for Marathi Vidnyan Parishad’s S. T. Taskar Award to Innovative Entrepreneur.
I am delighted to inform you that, joining hands with each other, Marathi Vidnyan Parishad and Chamber of Small Industry Associations has instituted a cash award of Rs. 50,000/- [plus a Memento and Citation] styled as Marathi Vidnyan Parishad’s S. T. Taskar Award to Innovative Entrepreneur last year
S. T. Taskar Innovative Entrepreneurship Award Eligibility:
1. Any Micro or Small Enterprise falling in the following definition will be eligible to apply for this Award.
· Micro Enterprise [Manufacture] – Investment in Plant & Machinery upto Rs. 25 lacs excluding the cost of land & building.
· Small Enterprise [Manufacture] - Investment in Plant & Machinery above Rs. 25 lacs & upto Rs. 5 crs. excluding the cost of land & building.
2. Main Criteria :
The Entrepreneur must have invented and adopted an innovative scientific process in the manufacture to produce the product which is sellable in the open market or supplied to the parent unit or exported. It must have resulted in the economy and efficiency so also added to the utility of the product in general.
I on behalf of both organizations invite the nominations for the 2nd Edition of this Award by the end of
20th December 2012. For your information an Application form is being attached herewith which can be circulated to your members. For more details & any clarifications please get in touch with COSIA as and when needed.
You are also requested to circulate widely this information through your house magazine and or bulletin etc. Your co-operation, needless to mention, will go a long way to promote the innovations in the MSE Sector.
