Florida Bar Seeks to Better Define Role of Lawyers vs. Role of Community Association Managers

The Standing Committee on Unlicensed Practice of Law held hearings to determine if the rulings on which activities performed by non-attorney licensed community association managers constituted the impermissible practice of law. In response to written submissions and testimony at the hearings, the committee published a draft opinion which it intends to file with the Supreme Court of Florida on or about May 15, 2013.
