Wanna perform in Diwali? |
The life of an Indian student in US has always been a roller coaster ride. Each of us has a story to tell. Join us at this year’s AIS Diwali bash to create a fun-filled play to share some of these stories!
Anyone interested in being a part of this play, please feel free to join us for an initial meeting on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 3 PM at Taper Hall of Humanities (THH).
Talent
and past experience in all forms (acting/dancing/script and dialogue writing)
are welcome. |

Compere for Diwali |
The one, who stays firmly rooted to the spot, guiding the program and negotiating through the waves of talent.
Do you want to be that one?
We are looking for a guy and a girl to compere for the big night of the AIS Diwali Bash, on October 24, 2010.
You need to have the spontaneity to shine on stage, the warmth to connect mentally and emotionally with the audience and the wit to keep everything running smoothly through the evening.
Shoot an email to in...@usc.edu if you’re up for the challenge! |

Ganesh Chaturthi Pooja
|
What better way to start the new year (and for so many students, a whole new chapter of their education and career), by celebrating the birth of the Lord of auspicious beginnings?
On Saturday, September 11, 2010, more than a hundred students came to the Fishbowl Chapel at URC for Pooja and Aarti. The Pooja was a beautiful rendition led by N. Bharathwaj, followed by Aarti and distribution of sweets.
This was organized in coordination with the Hindu Student Organization (HSO) of USC. |
The Association of Indian Students welcomes any student who would like to help us out in our events as Senators or volunteers. If you wish to make a difference, come join us and be part of the change!!!
