IIIT Delhi has been pioneering several changes in higher education
system in the field of applied Information Technology, including
• A joint focus on research and teaching
• Young and enthusiastic faculty with diverse educational experience
from across the world
• Collaborative PhD programs with research labs and universities
across the world
• Strong research groups in the areas of Information Biometrics,
Security, Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing, Theory and Software
Engineering

We are planning to expand into several other application domains of IT
including embedded systems, digital media, computational biology,
healthcare informatics and cyber physical systems.

This session will give a brief introduction about the institute,
