Message from Indian Students Association at UC Irvine. Please read and try to act upon fast:

Hi! 

This is terrible news, Mahesh Mahadevan was a second year Ph.D. student in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Irvine and IITM/2008 (Mandak I believe). He went missing on April 10th and his body was found on campus a few days later. The local chapter at UCI is doing its best helping out with the logistics for his last journey to India.

The details of Mahesh's death and effort to collect money can be found in the website - http://www.findmahesh.com  - you can add information from this website, in case you think it is needed.  The total amount to be collected is estimated to be $10,000 and they have collected around $5000 till now. It would be great if any form of monetary assistance is given to the Indian students association of UCI to achieve this task.
