Working within the HR Operations team you will be responsible
for managing a variety of internal and external systems activities and
initiatives.
End to End Business Process Analysis
Working with various functions and departments to analyze current state processes, document gaps and provide recommendations for improvement
Drive business requirements sessions and project manage various initiatives
Assist with system integrations and end to end testing scenarios
Recommend metrics/governance for ensuring process breakdowns or data integrity issues are identified timely
Quantify and communicate performance improvement results as requested
Assists in developing and implementing programs designed to improve performance/processes
Create training and communication materials for various stakeholders as part of the end to end process improvement initiatives, including but not limited to system training, process training, policy training
Develop Change Management plan, draft communications and update web content as required
Support HR Central Services function as required to increase their productivity and ensure excellent customer service/support to employees
Perform other duties as assigned
Workday Activities
Evaluate and prioritize Workday enhancement requests based on future Workday roadmap and strategic direction of the business
Perform new functionality/module evaluations, prepare recommendations and present to Senior Leaders as requested
Influence Workday roadmap via Workday community and HR client relationships
Configure Workday business processes; develop prototypes and review with senior leaders
Work with Release Team members to ensure timely resolution of issues, identify gaps and re-assign issues as needed
Lead and manage end to end testing and user experience sessions
Research, resolve and/or escalate Tier 2 support issues as necessary
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, human resources, business administration or related subject required
Previous experience with a medium to large multi-national company
3+ years of work experience in Information Systems or related field
Ability to manage projects, understanding of project management principles and methodologies
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues to completion
Ability to prioritize and manage work against critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and independent with ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and demands
Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones and geographic locations
Ability to understand technical issues at a sufficiently deep level to identify gaps
Strong verbal and written communication and follow up skills, including ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
Detail oriented, experienced in troubleshooting and problem solving
Problem and conflict solving abilities, influencing people across organization and levels
Passion for effective processes and methodologies that will improve the productivity of the organization.
Demonstrates confidence, credibility, good judgment and the ability to have fun at work!
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Word
Preferable Background/Experience
Experienced with Workday HCM system including security, business process configurations, Report Writer and Enterprise Interface Builder
Experience leading projects/project management
Knowledge of Central Services environment
