Withdrawal from the ASSIST Volunteer Group

Good morning,

Just a quick note that I will no longer be able to fulfill my voluntary commitments to the ASSIST due to time constraints and a significant change in my work circumstances. I regret this decision and wish to maintain a relationship with the ASSIST in any way I am needed. 

I apologize for the time that has passed in making my difficulties known; it has been challenging considering that I absolutely treasure working with the learners in Alexandra and have all the faith in the world in this program.

Daisy and Aobakwe: You have been great leaders and I appreciate all the work that you put into the program. Please believe that your commitment is appreciated and commendable. You are both so pleasant, patient and driven and this is what these learners and the program needs.

Many thanks to all my fellow tutors for all your warmth every Monday and to everyone that is part of the ASSIST for your hard work and your understanding.

I wish you all the best and would love to see you and the ASSIST grow stronger and stronger every day.
