Rain!

Some say we don't get many direct signs from heaven, that our
enlightenment is only through the church. In fact, signs are abundant if
we simply pay attention.
Here in Texas the perpetual summer drought has not been present this
year. Rainfall has been plentiful, but it's been slow and gradual,
without the flash flooding that normally happens when the rain finally
comes. I think Texas is being rewarded for passing a strict abortion
limitation law—as strict as the federal government will allow.
Incidentally, the federal government's meddling is state business is the
reason you see so many bumper stickers for secession around here.
