I've got a spare computer I'm turning into an emulation machine and would like to see if there is a way to boot directly to Big Box. As in I just boot it up and it opens with out any navigation. For ease of use with my family.

Now that you have the emulator setup I have found the easiest way is to use "dummy" pointer text files as the "ROM" with the table ID for importing into LB. See alternative below if want to do entries without pointer files. Place the text files in a directory called "Data". You can name that directory anything but that is what I called it. The extension of the text files doesn't matter. LB only looks for the first part to insert that "rom" name into the command string to launch Steam with the appropriate table. I have attached a few of the tables and matching text files in the "Data.zip" file attached at end of this post. Edit: added Data.zip file at end of this post with all 111 tables as of October 2023. Also added my Pinball FX.XML file which should link the Table IDs to table names. At some point when I have media I will also upload my XML so things match out of the box. You then run an import in LB for "ROM" and point to the Data directory:

I'm trying to import a TurboGrafx CD game to Launchbox which is currently in Bin & Cue format. When I launch the Cue file directly from Retroarch the game loads fine however when I import the Cue file to Launchbox, the game plays the first splash screen, then the image cuts out and I hear static.

Now to fix this i got Xoutput,xbox360eng,and virtual bus drivers converting the directoutput into xinput and its working just fine now after a buttload of configuring to get all those extra drivers and programs to launch and run the correct way at windows start.

Go guys. I have added a few games to launchbox and have setup demul as launchbox recommended this one. It is working very well for all games except for garou mark of the wolves which hangs on the SNK logo.

I really like launchbox. It downloaded all the meta data for my games. But if I double click the game I want to play it just opens demul and I need to point demul to the game file and then click run dreamcast. Is there a better way to do this?

Box is seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Office for web. This integration lets you create Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel files in Box, edit them using the Office for web applications, then save them directly back to Box without downloading additional programs or applications. Moreover, our Office for web integration supports concurrent editing, so you and your coworkers can collaborate on documents in real-time.

I use both Xpadder and Pinnacle for games I want to use a controller with that doesn't support it (both cost about $10 a piece for a lifetime license when I purchased them a few years ago, so the cost may be different now). I would say Pinnacle is the better option since they have a repository of pre-made profiles for a huge number of games and you can download them from directly within Pinnacle. As long as Pinnacle is running, it will automatically load the corresponding profiles when a game is launched since you will point it to the game's EXE.

Yea I had a such a huge headache with the games I was trying to us and commands out of launchbox did not always work, I bought a xInput controller and am currently wiring to work with my Arcade stick... It was honestly the easier solution.

There are also call boxes located at each of the main residence hall entrances. Police Services can be contacted by dialing 6070 on these phones. The large red button on the call box is an emergency button that will connect you directly with University Police.
