Friends of Rich Harisay: New Phone Banking schedule beginning Tonight Please help!

Hello Supporters of Rich Harisay & foes of ALEC:
Here is Rich’s schedule for phone banking. We REALLY need volunteers for a couple or three hours here and there as best suits your schedule. Only Rich and one other candidate in Oregon are running specifically against ALEC when a swing of two seats to ALEC in the assembly gives ALEC a majority. We can’t live with that, we will not start down the path of Wisconsin and Michigan. Rich also supports Move TO Amend and Occupy, all three are in his literature. Therefore, if you can spare some time from other campaigns you are working on please sign up for a shift.
It’s easy work, even after hundreds of calls I have only had one where the person was belligerent, the rest are usually very polite; we read from a short script and many calls are left on voice mail. So come help Rich replace the ALEC loving incumbent in the 17th district with a man who actively supports the groups we ourselves work with! Even if you aren’t in the 17th your actions will, further the values we have all worked so hard for.

We working at the Marion County Democratic HQ -- 250 Liberty Street SE, just south of State St., -- Salem, OR., Rich is there during these hours and difficult questions can be handed over to Rich directly.
There is a very simple script to follow and no need to debate or get into the fine points, Rich will take those calls.
