ASR is currently looking for a Test Engineer

Location: Mequon, WI
Duration: 1 year

SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
In accordance with sound and acceptable engineering principles,
develops Functional Test equipment hardware, software and methods for
use in the testing of manufactured products. Receives assignments from
department manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Design of Solid State product Automated Test Equipment (hardware,
application software, mechanical and electro-mechanical).
2. Performs integration of test hardware and test software with
product under test.
3. Develops design documentation and test procedures for the test
equipment.

Leadership
1. Projects require self-direction and ability to adjust to changes in
priority and scope. A dynamic team oriented organization, which
demands a sense of urgency, customer focus, and process improvement.

Interpersonal
1. Good communications skills, influence capabilities, and an ability
to work within a cross-functional team environment to achieve position
objectives. Projects involve the interaction between departments
including Design Engineering, Operations, and Quality.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in electronics or electrical engineering, or computer
science.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in test system design for solid
state products.
2. Demonstrated ability in cost effective design and implementation of
test system for analog and digital (including programmed logic)
products.
3. Experience in the application of CAD tools for mechanical,
electrical, and electronics design.
4. Demonstrated ability in development of automated test systems.
5. Experience with the use of C/C++, C# and NI TestStand in a windows
environment.
6. Project management skill.
7. Experience in mechanical fixture design.
