iSeries - JDEdwards Business Analyst Position - Full Time Perm Postition

Business Analyst

Client employs an IBM iSeries AS/400 Model 520 to run JD Edwards World
Software Version A9.1 as its primary back office accounting system.
The Business Analyst position provides all technical support for JD
Edwards and is also the Administrator/Security Officer for the AS/400
in general.

Client also maintains an additional iSeries AS/400 at an office in
Dallas Texas as a disaster recovery site. MIMIX version 6.1 is used
for data replication between the systems. iSeries AS/400’s are
running OS/400 V5R4. A current project is planned to upgrade to V6R1
in first quarter 2011.

Client is utilizing the following systems from JD Edwards: Address
Book, Financials, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets. Post does not
employ any customizations to JD Edwards’s programs. However, Post has
developed several data import/export points to adapt World Software to
support its business operation. These will be discussed in detail. A
knowledge of RPG programming and CL programming will be required in
this position.
There is some additional vendor software in use:
• GUMBO - Converts spool files to PDF
• Showcase Query
• ProData SQL
• AS/400 Report Downloader
• BOS File transfer
• Bottomline Create!Print, Create!ACH

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server will be a definite asset.
