My name is Nidhi and I am working with Alpha Silicon. We are headquartered in Santa Clara, CA serving customers nationwide in the United States. We have the following Job opening.

 

 

Role: UI/UX Developer

Location: Houston,TX

Duration-Long Term



JOB DUTIES:
1. Allow all team members visualize a product and agree on the desired outcome before development starts. It provides efficiency in requirements writing and development.
2. Lead the GUI design from UI/UX perspective, provide inputs on layout, color scheme, graphics, etc with the corporate guidelines on color Scheme and Branding.
3. Meet with business to understand their processes and pain points. Creation of documentation such as user flows, functional requirements, low fidelity wireframes and high fidelity wireframes. Creation of prototyped wireframes when needed.
4. Work mainly on design (user flows, wireframes, graphics, etc), in addition to requirements gathering (meetings. emails. etc), documentation and development support (answering questions, resolving issues with business, updates to documentation, etc).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
      1. Fluent in Adobe XD - wireframing, prototyping, workflow diagramming (visio), Azure Pro, Power Point, Blend for Visual Studio is a plus.
      2. Experience with Figma, sketch, invision, Adobe Photoshop.
      3. Proven graphic design experience and front-end development.
      4. Proven experience in UI/UX design for Windows Desktop Application with Universal Windows Application Look Feel.
      5. Must have a good familiarity with Windows GUI controls, like Ribbon, Navigation, etc. HTML and CSS are also desirable for Web applications.

DESIRED SKILLS and not Mandatory:
     1. Marine Engineering and structure software design.
     2. Structural modelling and experience in CAD environment.

EXPERIENCE:
   2+ years.
