I am recognizing multiple posts from female students looking for
rooms. I reserved a single bed room, and I can check whether an
upgrade to 2 beds is possible on demand -- on a first come first serve
basis -- if anyone is still looking for a room.

PS: I've already made a reservation at the conference venue for March
5 - March 9. The issue is that they were only able to provide me with
the conference rate for March 7; the rate for March 5 & 6 is more or
less acceptable (~+$50), but the rate for March 9 almost doubled. I
have no idea how this would change with the upgrade to 2 beds.

FYI: The room rate does not change for 2 beds, and I did the upgrade.
