Listed below are some of the items in progress and/or requiring committee consideration. Please let me know if there any other items.  

Committee Meeting Agenda Items

• Changeover of manager
  
• Caretaker Works Review
• Lift maintenance agreement
• Lift fobs
• Gardening quotes
• Building valuation
• Dispute resolution policy/process
• Building works

Also, for your information Firepak will be on site for their annual residential fire door inspection and six monthly check of common areas extinguishers, fire hose reels, hydrants, emergency lights and 240V fire alarms, of  10^th October 8.30am.   I have asked AAA Certified to advise owners. that Firepak require access to their units on that date.

Proposed meeting date of Thursday, 6 November

·         Richard, Pam, Lorraine advised they can attend

·         Barry is unable to attend

 

Could other committee members advise if they are able to attend.  Apologies if I’ve missed a notification.   

 

BCP Strata are only contracted to attend 2 committee meetings for the year plus an AGM.  Unfortunately, they will only meet during business hours and at their office.  That should be okay, with the balance of business being conducted by flying minute.  I think it would be useful if one of the meetings is a budget meeting.

Hi

I am unable to attend the meeting on November 6th as I will be in Tasmania. I return to Brisbane on the evening of November 9th.

A comment regarding our contact person at BCP. I am much like Mark - I have had little contact with Michael Wylie at BCP and therefore am not personally against using Michael Wylie as our contact person. 

However, I am acutely aware that there is a history of dispute and animosity in the past. I know that Lorraine Brydson particularly does not trust Michael Wylie.

My rationale for voting to change our contact person is to assist in encouraging positive and co-operative consultation. Perhaps we can consult further on this matter at our committee meeting.

Hi All

Michael Wyllie has not been officially appointed.  BCP Strata’s Managing Director advised that he makes the decision on the strata manager once he examines our file. 

 

BCP Strata now have our files and I expect we will hear their decision in the very near future.

Due to work commitments, I am unable to attend the meeting on the 6^th of November.
