Media pada saat pasCa kemerdekaan memiliki peran penting sebagai media untuk menyuarakan kepentingannya. Kelompok Tionghoa di Indonesia memdirikan media seperti yang telah disebutkan sebagai kebutuhan untuk menjawab tantqngan dan menyuarakan aspirasi.
