Bunların tümünde sözkonusu sorunları görmek mümkün. Olabildiğince insanlardan kaçınırlar. Sosyal gibi görünenleri vardır. Sözde hayale dayalı kurgularının olduğu sanılır, oysa Wing'in de ifade ettiği gibi bunlar uzun süre gözlemlendiğinde aynı kurguların takıntılı bir biçimde devam ettiği görülür. Bir genç "ben otistiğim" diye bağırıp duruyor, gündemde kalabilme uğruna yapmadığı şey yok. Duyduğum kadarıyla bir filmde yan oyuncu olarak da rol alacakmış. Diğer otizm kitaplarından ezberlediği bir kaç sözü tekrarlayıp duruyor.
