Hey all,

I just released an under-the-hood refactor that moves Aspen closer to Socket.IO integration. Socket.IO is a cross-browser and backwards-compatible implementation of WebSockets. It usually depends on a Node.js backend. I'm working on making it easy to use Socket.IO sockets with Aspen. My goal is to land that before PyOhio at the end of this month. The Aspen 0.10.16 refactor shouldn't change anything in terms of API, so let me know if you notice any breakage.

I thought I'd also mention that I made a couple tweaks to aspen-toy-blog. It now provides a simple listing on the homepage with a button for adding posts. You can also delete posts. Hopefully that makes this example a little more accessible.

Lastly, I'd like to thank Jason Coombs for sharing about Aspen at DC Python a couple days ago. That's three spokespeople for Aspen so far!
