Final PTA meeting - Tuesday, March 9
Aspen Creek PTA
Our final meeting of this academic year will be Tuesday, March 9. It
is an important one not only because of our annual elections to be
held, but also Lisa McKercher and some of her PBS team will be
explaining the PBS system we have working at our school. PBS stands
for Positive Behavior Support and represents a myriad of good behavior
reinforcement plans, statistic recordkeeping, etc. In a nutshell, it
is an integral key to keeping our kids safe and happy at Aspen Creek.
Any parents with Aspen Creek climate concerns or questions should
consider this a “must meeting.”
Dinner starts at 6:00 in the cafetorium – adults $3, kids $2. We’re
having sloppy joes, salad, brownies and lemonade. The business
meeting and the presentation start in the library at 6:30 and 7:00,
respectively. And, as always, child care is provided free.
We are still looking for a PTA treasurer to serve on the Board of
Directors for the 2010-2011 school year, so please let Alice Lucchesi
(aaluc...@comcast.net) know if you have any interest. Elections will
be during the business portion of our meeting on the 9th. You can also
nominate yourself or someone else that night at the meeting.
