Reminder - Final PTA meeting March 17

Greetings! Mark your calendars for our final PTA meeting of the year
on Tuesday, March 17th. Dinner starts at 6pm; the business meeting
will follow at 6:30. For dinner we will be serving baked penne,
meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and drinks. Adults are $3, kids $2.
Childcare will be provided.
It is important to get as many members as possible to attend this
meeting as we will be voting on officers for next year. In addition,
we will be watching a demonstration of "Smart Boards" - a new
classroom technology that hopefully will be integrated into every
grade level in the future. The PTA is considering devoting some of our
fundraising efforts towards the Smart Boards as we believe that they
are an incredible learning tool. Mr. Livingston will also be giving
us a preview as to what is being planned for next year with respect to
staff and student enrollment. And finally, we will be planning for
Spring Fling, coming up on April 18th.
We currently have a slate of officers to present and vote on for
Tuesday night, but we will also be taking last-minute nominations from
the floor. If you are interested in running for an office, it is not
too late! Just be sure to speak up at the meeting.
We realize with soccer and baseball practices starting as well as
getting ready for spring break, you are very busy. But please take
time out of your week to come support the PTA, have a great homemade
meal and catch up with friends, neighbors, teachers and
administrators. Invite your friends and neighbors! Let's finish the
year with our biggest attendance yet!
