PTA Meeting - Tues. April 19 - Cyber bullying presentation

To our spectacular members:

Hope everyone had a great time at Spring Fling. It was a impressive
show put on by our tireless Superparents!

Come to our final meeting of this academic year on Tuesday, April 19
at 6:30. It promises to be a good one. Jennifer Korb, a BVSD
Information Technology Specialist, is going to talk to us about cyber
bullying. Bring your kid(s) and they’ll probably learn something
too! Be an educated parent and student.

We still have open PTA Board positions. Our Programs Coordinator,
Fundraising Coordinator and Legislative Liaison positions need to be
filled for the 2011-2012 school year.  The Programs Coordinator
arranges speakers for the programs during our general PTA meetings and
helps coordinate author visits with Librarian Andrea Kibe.  The
Fundraising Coordinator arranges fundraising opportunities such as
Chick-fil-A nights, Skate City parties, and will be helpful in
brainstorming new ideas to help raise money for the school.  This
person is also instrumental in our 2 big annual fundraising events:
the Fall Festival and the Spring Fling.  The Legislative Liaison keeps
the PTA connected with education changes at the capitol.  Please come
to the meeting if you are interested in any of these positions.
