PTA Meeting Tuesday, Nov 17th

Thanks to all of you who came out to support the PTA Fall Festival
last week. We had a record crowd and can't wait to get the final total
of our fundraising efforts! Thanks also to those of you who
volunteered at the event, and those of you who donated silent auction
items. We have a great community and appreciate your continued support
of the PTA and our kids!

Coming up is our next general PTA meeting, Tuesday, November 17th.

The program for this evening will be presented by our own 6th grade
teacher, Lisa Turner, and newly-elected board member and Apsen Creek
TAG (Talented and Gifted) coordinator, Jennie Belval. The topic of
their presentation is "Everything you wanted to know about TAG- but
didn't know who to ask!". This program is meant to address both TAG
and non-TAG parents. Both groups should find this discussion
interesting, thought-provoking and informational. They will be
informing us not only of the TAG program and procedures at our school,
but things you can do to help both TAG and non-TAG students achieve
their highest potential.

Dinner will be baked ziti with meatballs, salad, bread, drinks and
dessert ($3 for adults, $2 for kids). Childcare will be provided. Our
business meeting will begin at 6:30, followed by our program.

We were thrilled at the number of you who attended our last PTA
meeting, and hope you will continue to attend and enjoy the programs
we are bringing you.
