PTA Meeting - Tues. Nov 16th w/Broomfield Police Presentation

To our first-rate members:

Our upcoming meeting next Tuesday, November 16, features Broomfield
Police School Resource Officer Dana Wieland. He’ll be giving us an
informative update on what is happening in our neighborhood schools,
including social media concerns. Perhaps more importantly, Officer
Wieland has asked that we bring our pressing questions so he can spend
most of the hour addressing our worries. This discussion should be
enlightening and thought-provoking to both elementary and middle
school parents. Come join us and bring your questions!

This month we are also pleased to have Ann Cooper, the BVSD Director
of Nutrition Services, providing us with an informative short talk
about the nutrition improvement program being promoted in our local
schools. She and her staff will also be treating us to a free,
representative taste-testing. This presentation and taste-testing
will start at 6:15 and conclude at 6:45. This brief program will give
us a great opportunity to find out more about the school lunch
program.

Sandwiched between these two great programs, our short business
meeting starts in the library at 6:45 and ends at 7:00. Childcare is
provided free from 6:15 to 8:00.

Please note that dinner will NOT be served.
