Anything new about the expedition?
Have you already received the letter from Ministry for us?
It seems we will only 8 cavers - (6 divers).
Please, can you find out the water situation in the cave and the region? To call Mr. Ali or Mr. Ali baba is the good way I think. We need to know:
1 - Were there much snow during the winter or much rain during summer in the Mountains above the cave this year?
2 - Is water flowing from the entrance AltinBesik (like a river) or not? If the water flow from the cave (last year situation) the Piciska are probably closed with water and we are not able to continue with our explorations.
Will you have all things we deal before? The most important is these equipment:
- telephone connection through the siphon (distance about 150 v- 200 m)- IPORTANT
- some long ropes
- camp behind siphon (tent, sleeping bags ... for 5 person)
- drilling machine
- compressor, tanks ...
we have a little problem with gas stove for the base camp in front of the cave, I am sure we will manage it but if you can please, take a some bigger stove with a tank of PB gas for cooking in the cave entrance.

Hello Ondra,
There is no problem with the permissions. 2 Person from ministry will be with us with 2 or 3 day(they are the guys who responsible fort the park and cave protection). Water level is normal, not to much. I had already spoke with the local guys(ertan and ali).
We have snow this year but , water level is not so much. I mean ıf there would not be heavy rain. We can pass piciska sifon.
We will arrange the list of the equipments. 5 or 6 turkish caver (4 of the diver including me will be with us) turgay and Oktay also.
And ı have an intersting information about the ceramics thay you found in the small cave, belongs to 5000-3500 years before the crist. Late neolitic and chalcalotic period. :))
Another news about pınargözü cave, that we had phograf on the way back to ıstanbul, now 10.500km had mapped and ı was at the last point this year. Next year we go on this to.
p.s ı have a mail problem 5 days ogo and colud bot check last 20 days mailing. Now it is fine. If you sent me any mail, ı have not receive.

Hello Ondra,
I have some news. I informedyour names to the ministry, they will sent the letter this week. There has been a sligltly rain over the region, but the water level is stabil and very low. I will be informed if there will be any increasement about the water level.
We have the telephone cable, but ı am still trying to find talking devices. Our frienfds have some but they could not finf in their spare room. Would be possible to biring with you in any case as an back up.
We will be 6 cavers from our side. all the best,
