Why firefox team doesn't support server OS? Why firefox ESR is supporting?But now, I must install Google Chome with all new features instead Firefox on all my LAN PCs, because I prefer to use one brand to reduce my expenses (I am sysadmin).
Why are you even running a web browser on a server? Considering the risks to such an old OS with obsolete browsers, you should set a security policy that prohibits accessing external sites other than Microsoft from the server, and you might as well use Internet Explorer for those.
So it's a matter of Firefox being not launched correctly since GeckoDriver was able to spawn it but not interact with it. Moreover, running firefox.exe directly in the container causes firefox.exe process to appear once the tasklist is executed, but it's just one process taking 6MB of RAM (unlike Chrome, which spawn dozens of processes and has no problem in running headlessly, same for the Firefox executed on Windows 10). I assume that there's some kind of an obstacle that prevents Firefox from being opened and since Server Core has no GUI, it cannot be displayed and cannot be diagnosed. Sadly, I haven't found any information about Firefox logs stored on disk or run Firefox in more verbose mode from command line. The things I already tried:

We have a large group of computers in our domain that use to use SEP CLoud firewall to only allow Chrome, Edge and Firefox to access a choice few bunch of websites while blocking all others. Our new Cloud endpoint service doesnt supply us with a firewall option anymore. Does anyone know how I can setup Windows firewall to only allow a select group of computers to access only a couple of Websites with Chrome, Edge and firefox while blocking all other Websites.?
We don't have clear criteria for dropping this. By dropping we will still have 32 bit testing on windows 10 via wow64, but dropping would mean turning off automated testing on our main production branches and not maintaining tooling/images/automation for windows7.
Google and Microsoft further extended Chrome and Edge support.

there is no criteria at Mozilla for dropping build/test coverage for an OS. This bug would only be about dropping test coverage for Win7x32, we still have win10x32 builds generated regularly and tests covering 32 bit windows. If we did have criteria, it would be difficult given that linux users are single digit and osx users are single digit as well.
We have the same issue with Chrome when a user log in a windows workstation for the first time. As he/she open chrome for the first time, the bitwarden extension get installed and force pinned, and the base server url is pushed in the registry, but we have the same issue where the user have to actually click on it and save to set it.
Just saw that Firefox will continue to support Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 into 2024 :

The way this is going, my guess is that when Firefox ESR 115 is released (which according to the release calendar is supposed to be on July 4), then Firefox users running Windows 7 and 8.1 (and presumably their server counterparts 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 also) will be switched to the ESR channel when they perform an update, like when Windows XP Firefox users were switched to the ESR channel back in 2017.
I've configured a squid proxy which requires authentication on my home gateway. On a lan PC running windows 7 when I try to access it from Firefox I get a blank page; both chrome and internet explorer also return fairly meaningless errors). In all cases the squid log shows it is serving 407 Proxy Authentication Required. This is to be expected.
In case anyone still needs a solution: I use a software called Proxifier. It forces all applications to use any proxy server you may be connected to. All you need to do is set up the proxy network details, including authentication credentials and you're good to go. So you might find a lot of applications that require an internet connection but have no option of configuring the details of this internet connection. If you're on a proxy, Proxifier will solve these problems most of the time.

I am in Brazil , but I always use my browser in english .
But right now its half on English and half Portuguese , some times inside the same box .
In options I have all set for English .
How to fix this ?
