Celebrate the Birth of Tribology on March 9th
– Take 50% Off STLE Webinars
On March 9, 1966, 'The Jost Report,' sponsored by the U.K.'s Ministry of Education and Science, acknowledges that the term "lubrication" in its broad sense, while including many technical disciplines, unfortunately has come to be understood in the narrow sense of oiling and greasing. To remedy, the newly formed Committee on Tribology recommends the two-year-old term 'tribology.' It is defined as the science and technology of interacting surfaces in relative motion and the practices related thereto.
Celebrate the 50th
anniversary of tribology.
March 9, 2016, FOR ONE DAY ONLY, STLE is offering 50% off
all previously recorded webinar
from 2015 or earlier.
