Call for Nominations : Invited Presentations at the Special Early Career session (SEC-Sess)
The 50th Mechanisms & Robotics Conference, to be held as part of the 2026 ASME IDETC-CIE, will include a special invited session featuring early-career faculty. The objective of this session is to provide a scholarly forum for emerging researchers to present their recent contributions and to articulate prospective research directions within the field. The session encompasses a broad range of topics in mechanisms and robotics, including but not limited to robot design, motion planning, human-centered robotics, collaborative systems, soft robotics, parallel and reconfigurable mechanisms, tensegrity systems, rehabilitation robotics and exoskeletons, biomechanics, grasping and manipulation, compliant mechanisms, mechanical metamaterials, and origami-inspired systems.
Currently, the organizing committee seeks nominations of high-quality candidates for these invited talks.  The candidate should hold a tenure track or equivalent position at their university.  Candidates should expect to travel to Houston, TX, USA, in August for the in-person event.

To nominate a candidate, please fill out the Nomination Form link below no later than May 20, 2026.  Self-nominations are encouraged.
